About LifeLink AI

LifeLink AI is a human-centered public-safety platform that helps triage overflow emergency calls, surface guidance, and route information to the right responders.

Important: LifeLink AI is not a substitute for calling 911 or your local emergency number. If you believe you or someone else is in danger, call emergency services immediately.

Privacy Notice

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide or that’s generated when you use LifeLink AI:

  • Account & contact: name, email, phone, organization/agency, role.

  • Call data (if enabled): caller ID phone numbers, timestamps, call duration, IVR selections.

  • Audio & transcripts (if enabled): audio recordings, speech-to-text transcripts, detected keywords/intents, automated summaries.

  • Incident & location: reported incident type, free-text notes, provided address or geolocation (when you grant permission), dispatch status.

  • Device & usage: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, clicks, performance metrics.

  • Diagnostics & security: logs, error reports, authentication and fraud-prevention signals.

  • Payment & billing (if applicable): limited transaction metadata via our PCI-compliant processor (we do not store full card numbers).

  • Cookies & similar tech: pixels, local storage, analytics identifiers (see “Cookies & Tracking”).

How We Use Information

To:

  • Provide and secure the service (account access, dashboards, call routing, incident archiving, uptime, and fraud prevention).

  • Assist public-safety workflows (e.g., deduplicating calls, suggested guidance, routing hints).

  • Improve accuracy and reliability (quality assurance, analytics, model evaluation, and product research).

  • Communicate with you (service notices, updates, onboarding, and—with consent—product marketing).

  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

AI & Automated Processing

  • LifeLink AI uses automated models to transcribe audio, extract keywords, assess urgency, and suggest actions.

  • Human-in-the-loop: Critical decisions remain with trained human personnel; our outputs are suggestions, not directives.

  • Model improvement: We may use de-identified and aggregated data to evaluate and improve models. If you need a no-training data configuration, contact us to enable a restricted processing mode.

  • Your choices: You can request (where applicable) access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

We process data on: contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (product security, QA, analytics), consent (marketing, certain cookies, optional features), and legal obligation (compliance).

Sharing & Disclosures

We do not sell your personal information. We share only as needed:

  • Service providers (cloud hosting, speech-to-text, analytics, telephony, email).

  • Public-safety partners/your agency (when you are part of an authorized deployment).

  • Legal & safety (to comply with law, protect rights, prevent harm).

  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition, or asset sale—your information may transfer with notice).

International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) where required.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes. You can request deletion consistent with applicable law and our retention schedules. Audio/transcripts can be configured with custom retention windows on request.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, logging, environment isolation). No system is 100% secure; promptly notify us if you suspect a security issue.

Cookies & Tracking

  • Essential cookies: required for sign-in, security, and core features.

  • Analytics: understand usage and improve performance.

  • Preferences: remember settings (e.g., UI, filters).
    Your browser may allow you to block cookies; some features may not work without them. We currently do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access your data; correct inaccuracies; delete or port data; opt-out of certain processing (e.g., targeted ads/“sale”/profiling where applicable).

  • Appeal a denied request (Virginia/Colorado, etc.).
    Submit requests via [privacy@lifelinkai.com] (or the in-product portal). We will verify your identity and respond as required by law.

Children’s Privacy

LifeLink AI is not directed to children under 13 (or relevant local age). Do not submit children’s personal information without proper authority.

HIPAA/Medical Disclaimer

LifeLink AI is not a medical device and generally is not a HIPAA covered entity. Do not submit Protected Health Information unless your deployment has a signed BAA and PHI handling is explicitly enabled.

Third-Party Links

We may link to external sites we don’t control. Review their policies before using those services.

Changes to This Notice

We’ll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.

Terms of Use

Your Account & Eligibility

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us of any breach.

License to Use LifeLink AI

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use LifeLink AI in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security.

  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to access non-public systems.

  • Upload content that infringes others’ rights or contains malware.

  • Misrepresent AI outputs as definitive facts without human review in public-safety workflows.

Outputs & Reliance

AI outputs may be imperfect and are provided for information and decision support. You are responsible for verifying outputs and exercising professional judgment.

Intellectual Property

LifeLink AI, its logos, UI, code, models, and content are owned by LifeLink AI or its licensors and are protected by IP laws. Except for your content, you gain no ownership by using the service.

Your Content & Feedback

You retain rights to your submitted content. You grant LifeLink AI a license to use that content solely to provide and improve the service (and as otherwise permitted in this page). If you provide feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use it without obligation.

Third-Party Services

Certain features rely on third-party providers (e.g., telephony, transcription, maps). Your use may be subject to their terms in addition to ours.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFELINK AI AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LIFELINK AI FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold LifeLink AI harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, non-payment, or legal reasons. You may stop using the service at any time. Certain sections survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, and governing law).

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflicts of law. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
